Innovative New Generation Apprenticeship in Associate Sales Professional

 

Today a consortia chaired by Ger Teahon of SaleSense, a leading award winning international sales organisation and Mayo Sligo Leitrim Education and Training Board, a leading provider of further education and training in Ireland, have submitted an innovative new generation apprenticeship proposal in Associate Sales Professional.

The Initial Consortia Steering Group consists of SIMI, Siemens, FIT, Netwatch, MSLETB and Sean Gallagher. This new apprenticeship is supported by a broad spectrum of Irish Industry including small, medium and large enterprises (to many to mention) and other ETB’s.

This new apprenticeship will be a state of the art world class programme combining relevant content and experiential on-the-job training that will empower sales professionals to reach new levels of excellence. The programme will leverage technology enhanced learning methodologies to deliver a cutting-edge industry led and driven programme. The Associate Sales Professional apprenticeship will create a formal career route for apprentices and will be an exemplar that will form the centre of gravity shaping all sales professional training programmes in Ireland into the future. The apprentices will be equipped with the 21st century skills for the complex and evolving needs of customers in an ever rapidly changing global environment.

Creating excellence in sales is crucial to Ireland’s future in a post brexit Europe – we are looking forward to a successful outcome with the apprenticeship council in developing this exciting and innovative new apprenticeship with all our partners.
