An awards ceremony took place in the Arts Centre, Ballyshannon on Saturday, 7th November to acknowledge all fantastic young writers as part of the Cross Borders Creativity Competition. Alana Gallagher (1st Year) came third in the U.13 Poetry with her poem ‘Pierce and the Fox’. Darach Ó’ Tórna (1st Year) came second in Flash Fiction with his story ‘Inside the Horse’ and Katharina Dietz (5th Year) also came second in the U.19 Flash Fiction Section. Congratulations to the three students and their teacher Mrs. Shannon who accompanied them to the event.
