Poetry Aloud Competition

On Wednesday, October 21st three pupils from  Lough Allen College participated in the Regional Final of the Poetry Aloud Ireland Competition. Katharina Dietz (5th), Stacey Gallagher (5th) and Dylan Gallagher (1st) interpreted and recited two poems in the Grammar School, Sligo. Katharina succeeded in getting through to the National Semi-Final in The National Library of Ireland, Dublin which will take place on Thursday, November 19th. Best of luck to Katharina and her teacher, Mrs Shannon in the National Semi-Final.
