Corran College was one of twelve “exceptional schools” chosen to exhibit their innovative, creative and original work from the Green Schools programme at the first ever “Green Schools EXPO” in the Industries Hall at the RDS on Thursday 25th February 2016. This is the great recognition and affirmation of all the hard work of our Green Schools Coordinator, Mrs. Regan, Ms Griffin, John Gardiner, Shirley Redican and the Green Schools Committee

The EXPO provides an opportunity to showcase, celebrate and learn about the work of the Green Schools Programme through a series of interactive exhibits, fun activities, workshops and guest speakers to suit all ages and interests.

Corran College is only one of two secondary schools in Co. Sligo that have been awarded five green flags. The school is currently working on their sixth Green Flag for “Global Citizenship”.
