Coláiste Iascaigh were delighted to have past pupil Mr. Eamon Carney visit the school to raise their 5th Green Flag. This flag was awarded by An Taisce-Green Schools to acknowledge the work carried out by the school community on the ‘Travel’ theme. Over the last two years a hard working Green School Committee have raised awareness about and encouraged sustainable travel. A number of initiatives were organised to support students wishing to cycle to school. Eamon joined Green School Coordinator and Deputy Principal, Lorraine Sherlock, Principal Maeve Kelly, and the Green School Committee of students to proudly raise the flag.
