Congratulations to Davitt College, Castlebar Fifth Year Student, Shane Gavin on winning “Best Individual Robot” at the EA Games Robotics competition in the Radisson Blu Hotel, Galway on Friday, 1st May 2015. Supported by EA Games, the competition pits rival robots from schools throughout the country against one another to battle it out for the coveted trophies, with this edition seeing 450 second-level students competing.

“The Irish Robotics Championship is a great way to engage teenagers in the design and construction of robots, which we are really pleased to support,” said Donal Doherty of EA Games.
